My first post was made jokingly but unfortunately sarcasm doesn't transfer well over the internet. I'm not stereotyping all republicans as pro-war, I've just yet to meet one that isn't but I'm sure there are some out there and I can see how my first posts seemed like that.

In regards to the draft I think it is a bad idea becasue it forces people into war who don't want to fight. I know people who were drafted and have horrific stories about their time in the army. People who are against the war shouldn't have to fight in it. If there was a draft I think that only those who are for the war should be drafted and I think that if a policy like that was used a lot of people would change their minds about the war pretty damn quickly.
