I'm running a set of Tannoy Reveals that I got for 300 dollars, and I must say, I have had all my mixes sound mint on a big system. I tend to have to put a bit more effort into a couple of diff monitoring situations (I monitor through computer speakers as well, as their small, tinny, and sound terrible), but if I can get a good mix between the 2 sets of speakers, I know I'm doing ok.
