Thank you so much. This is what I'm talking about; some feedback, a good honest opinion! Yes you're right, it does need to really kick in at some point. I find it easy to get an idea but harder to develop it and contrast it to keep it interesting enough. I haven't worked on this tune for a year or so, perhaps it's time to boot it up again and shake things up a little! Glad the mix sounds ok for you. My problem with these tunes is that I spend so much time editing and tweaking the mix that I can't listen to it objectively anymore and have to shelve it.
