Hope and Briza have very good points. The drums are unnatural, first of all. Second, they need to be brought up in the mix so that the kick assimilates the cool bass work.

The riff at the beginning of the verse kind of reminds me of a 70's rock song, but I can't place it. Boston, Kansas,....?

I guess the consensus so far is re-do the drums. Great playing! I wish my old fingers could play like that!
