You need to Market the hell out of it! If you're not gigging, then you need some major internet presence. How you get that is up to you... it seems like a dog eat dog world out here

The stores won't want to sell your album unless you are well known in your location. Unless you are a popular gigging band in town, they will probably consider you a waste of their time.

Major labels? I'm not sure you want that. But that may be my own biased opinion. I've read too many horror stories and seen too many bad numbers with regard to them.

I think that you should go at it on your own. You really need to market it. This may mean going back and re-doing some of the album if it doesn't fit your market.
