Agreed on all points...

I am at a newbie when it comes to tracking/mixing drums, I am learning a lot but still way off. As for the guitars, I got denied when I asked to mess with the tone of the amp... the guitarist is very picky and likes a rediculous mid-scoop (10 on bass, 0 on mids, 10 on treble) which is very hard to get some of the mud out. Plus, he uses a Crate combo am run through a 4x12 speaker cab, which I am guessing may be a little unconventional. I am working on EQing things in the guitars a little to see what can be done and to let the bass breathe a little.

I was wondering about the drum levels, if they were buried a little, thanks for the insight, I really appreciate the help!!
