Those ddrum acrylics look like a sweet set indeed! You are correct in that the price is right also!
I would invest in those if I wasn't saving up for a vintage set of "jellybean" Ludwig Vistalites.
Remember that the attributes that make the acrylics a great stage drum, also makes them undesirable in the recording studio. Not that you can't record them, it's just that acrylics wouldn't be most recording engineers first choice.
