Default Alesis io 26 problem !
When i plug- Alesis io 26 to my computer (im running windows xp service pack 3 on a mac ) and try open the Alesis firewire control panel after something like - 30 secends a message pops - Driver error : device is not accessible
Check the driver configuration or device conncetions.
When I try opening the Alesis IO hardware Direct monitoring it say - unable to find alesis io 26 ,when I try opening the Alesis firewire from control pannel it is the same message as the Alesis firewire control panel .

Everything looks fine on the device the firewire cable is new and fits ,firewire light on the device works .

Does the alesis 26 support service pack 3 ? or only 2 because im running service pack 3

Im new to recording so I dont really know how to solve the problem
