This mic is built like a tank and sounds better than my MXL 990, 604, and other sub $100 sdc's I've tried on acoustics. All metal construction and conveniently designed to easily position. I have only tried recording acoustics with it thus far, and for that it does the job rather nicely for the price.

Reliability: 10
Like I said, all metal, weighs a ton for the size. I don't know how you can break it. Would not be afraid to use this live at all.

For what I paid, and for what you can find these for, I really think they are a great value. Much better than most Samson, Nady, Behringer ect. I paid $20 for it, but would pay more to replace it if it were lost or i somehow (don't know how...)broke it.
