Default Re: Lexicon Alpha Reviews

Quality: 8
I am a 1 month old rookie at recording at home. I purchase the Lexicon Alpha due to a very very low budget.
Seems to be sturdy to me.. no problems so far.
The sound is good to my rookie ear.

So far it has accomplished all I have needed. No problems other than the natural learning curve of how to use it.

Reliability: 9
No direct calls to support with Lexicon.

I used there website several times and it had what I needed to solve my issues.

Overall Rating: 8
This is a low cost audio interface, and has only 2 inputs. One microphone and one for guitar or whatever. Other than the limitations, it has been a great product.

I use it with a HP notebook PC..
Intel(R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU
T5550 1.83 GHz
Ram 3.00 GB
No problems.

I would recommend to folks with a low low budget like mine.
Really not set up to for recording a whole band but is good for home recordings. Comes with Cubase LE4 software and a CD for hardware and software installation.
