 Dtxpress Help!!
Hi,
I have a Yamaha DTXPRESS IV and I recently purchased a usb midi interface off ebay for $3.00. I have Acid Pro 7 and Cubase as well.
My goal is to be able to record me playing the drums, through midi. I have absolutely no idea what I am doing, by the way!
I have unsuccessfully tried a few things already.
My usb midi interface has to 5 pin midi outputs (IN and OUT), but my DTXPRESS only has one MIDI OUT. I'm not sure which wire to stick into that in the first place.
I somehow got Cubase and Acid to recognize the midi controller, but there was no sound when I started to record!
Can someone please help me and teach me, step by step, how to record the drums through MIDI using the YAMAHA DTXPRESS?!
