There is a movement in west Africa for hip hop artists to make it big in the U.S. Sort of what Akon did (he's from Senegal).
Actually, he had to postpone; couldn't get his guitar player over here. He did give me a payment though.
But I'm not holding my breath. I'm not ready to delve deep into this genre. I don't have anything against it, but the artists who have recorded in my studio also want(ed) me to manage them. I know nothing about managing a hip hop group nor have the contacts in Atlanta to do anything with it.
