Default Re: Hello from me

asking someone how to mix so that it sounds amazing is similar to asking how to write a song that will go to #1. theres no real difinitive reply to that question.
your mixes will depend on various different things. the equipment you have. the space you are mixing in. the material you have to work with. your goal with the particular song. the list goes on.
the aim of mixing is to take all the various parts and pieces of your recording and fit them together so that they compliment each other in such a way as to make a song.
think of your song in a three dimensional space. if you were at a concert; where do the guitars come from in the stereo field? where do the drums and bass sit? you want to give each of them their own space so that they compliment and dont contradict.
mixing isn't something you can just learn. it takes time and effort; trial and error. experiment. its the best way.
