Default (S/PDIF) MPC1000 - E-MU 0404 - Cubase LE
What I'm trying to do is record a beat from my Akai MPC 1000 to Cubase through my E-Mu 0404. I have a coaxial cable connected, with the coaxial setting selected on my E-Mu but I don't know where to start getting it ready to record. I had a quick look through the manual, but didn't really find anything I could understand.

I was able to use an instrument cableand record from the stereo out into the direct in input on the E-mu and record, but I'd like to keep these slots free for a mic for guitar and a bass guitar direct in.
