Re: How do i sample percussion for MIDI ????
".............
so i need to start from the basics, Im not even sure if i am using the correct terminology in calling it sampling.
Im not to bad with using the MIDI editors via VST's etc but i have no idea how to create new sounds for them."
An actual sample is usually the best audio format on any system. With 88 keys, there is not always a need to make 88 samples. You just can change pitch up to point.
"The application im using it for is to add Bass and tenor drums to some bagpipe tracks and it would be so much faster if i could trigger the drum sounds on a drum editor or via the midi key board".
There should be GM banks that you can apply processing to without having to sample.
