Default Re: How do i sample percussion for MIDI ????

"You can take a sound right off your track and record it as a drum agog file."

Thanks Paul for this tip but im still a little unsure.

I have downloaded and installed the Drumagog demo but i dont unersatand how to take the sound and record it as a drumagog file.
I have set the R and L markers and tried to copy and paste to the sample section of Drumagog but that does not work, will it work if i export that section of the audio track as an OMF file then browse in drumagog and inport that way.

I hope im not being a pain in the A*** here but as i have said this is all new to me.

[I]Samples can be difficult. But if you can edit bank files, you just assign them (your sample) to GM instrument numbers.

Having a look at edit bank files but i still dont under stand what you mean by "SAMPLE" is it just an OMF file?
