It really depends how deeply you want to sample. I would just record a whole bunch of hits, then sort them by volume level. Cut them right at the start of the sample and then name them so they are easy to decypher. I've never used Drumagog. I have tried to make tambourine and bodrhan samples for Kontakt. It was too boring for words! I gave up.
