Default Re: Cubase Wave Editor, Guitar Recording Problem

the last 2 years has just involved tracks with the bass coming out of the left and the guitar coming out the right. Or having to record in adobe audtion and then bounce down into wav to use in cubase.

I am effectively only recording in mono, but i just want the same sound to come out of both speakers.

At the moment its like this, i record my peice, now when i double click on the wave in cubase, only one side has any noise on it, i just want to copy the noise from say the right to the left,so its both the same.

It just seems strange that a programme as similar as Audition its only two clicks to do this and i cant figure it out. I am probably making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Are you suggesting that i just use a mono track and hit the mono button on the soundcard?

The guitar is being recorded straight into the soundcard with no microphones,is this reffered to as 'Dry Signal'?
