Default Cubase Wave Editor, Guitar Recording Problem

Hi all,

I posted this on another thread until i found this much more obvious place to find my answer.

Basically, im using an Edirol UA25 external sound card to record my guitar based songs on Cubase SX3.

The soundcard has a left and right jack inpurt, with the right having a HI-z button to assist with guitar recording.

*The Problem*
When i record the guitar by plugging it straight into the jack, in cubase it only appears in the right channel, therefore i only get sound out of the right speaker. On Adobe Audition this problem can be easily sorted by opening the wave editor and simply copying the wave on the right and pasting it on the left.

The problem works both ways ie left to right, right to left etc.

Is there any way to record so that it is on both channels or an easy way to copy and paste like adobe audtion.

Let me know if i havnt explained this well enough.

Huge massive appreciation if anyone can help me out, this has bugged me for like 2 years.

Cheers
Matt
