The folks at Pro Tools are very picky about what kind of computer that you put their software on. You may want to look at the Digidesign website to make sure your computer is compatible with Pro Tools. Do you know if your computer has integrated graphics, or does it have a separate graphics card. One easy way to know is if it has something about ATI Radeon or nVidia. You have to have a separate graphics card to run Pro Tools. I would start here
Support & Downloads and look at everything on your computer and make sure that your computer is compatible with Pro Tools. I did a lot of research before I bought the Pro Tools setup. I'm interested to see what the issue is here, because I use Pro Tools on a XP laptop and have had no issues with it.
