I am using Cubase LE 4 and when i listen to the samples in media player or even the preview they sound correct. As soon as I import them into Cubase they sound exactly like they have been slowed down. Kind of warbling (if that is a word).

I have read about music mode but when I look into the sample editor I have no button that resembles the musical note as per the instruction manual.

All I really want is to take a recording that is 75bpm and import it so that it plays at 75bpm. Ideally fitting within the snapped bar sections so I can easily copy and paste to build a song.

I guess I can live with it if the samples do not match to the exact bar but I cannot have the samples resampled at a slower speed.

Any other ideas I could check?
