I'm not sure, cubase was never like acid for me.

In acid you set whatever tempo you want and it's in time.

Cubase is supposed to have some abilities in that regard but I've never done it.

I know that when you import a .wav file it get's imported just as it is, cubase doesn't change it, don't know what you have to do if you wanted to "make it fit" the way acid does.

Does it sound the same in cubase as it does in Windows media player, tempo wise?

Play it to a click track?

If it was an MP3 it has to have the front trimmed.
