Default Zoom H2 and interference

Hello,

What do you think would be the most likely cause of a repeated buzzing noise I picked up while recording a concert with my Zoom H2? It has a "pet pet petatataat!" sound and buzzing pattern.

-The Zoom was in a retirement home (retired but not in need of constant care, not a hospital situation) where electronic equipment might be used.

-The Zoom was placed on a counter near a purse with a phone in it that was still on (just silenced but never received a call during the time).

-There was a mic about 10-15 feet away that was connected via wire to a built in speaker system at the retirement home.

I'm hoping this was just caused by interference with one of the above and that there isn't anything wrong with my Zoom otherwise.

Thanks for any help!
