Default Cubase LE 4 and Cubase Studio

Heya, I am currently using Cubase LE however I'm learning through a book intended for Cubase Studio 4 and am already seeing some drawbacks in the software which I'm worried with curtail future projects. Firstly please, I urge you, do not simply present me with a comparison chart I have already seen them and they do not help.
My background in audio production is simply messing around with a friend on Garageband, we have made a few songs which are relatively good however we are now thinking of taking it a bit more seriously which is why we have started using Cubase. We make electro music which means that pitch bending, time warping, drops, build ups, mixing and compressions are vital. What attracted us to Cubase was the ability to mix more professionaly and also compressions. However do you think I will reap much benefits from Cubase LE. Already I am seeing a draw back in the mixing section however can we still do this at a professional level without Cubase Studio. Moreover the time warp feature is not included however to what extent is this useful for electronic music. Basically what I am asking is do you feel that Cubase LE is an appropriate program for electro music or does it have major drawbacks. Before I invest more time into the program learning how to use it should I reconsider and maybe opt for a different music production software which is more useful. My lack of research initially is biting me in the arse now.
Thank you.
